Friggin belt

Friggin’ dryer belt broke last night so that the drum stopped turning. Of course it was during the first load. Luckily my neighbor let me use his dryer. I took the belt off and the damned thing just snapped. There didn’t seem to be any unusual wear, burns, or overheating. It looked like someone grabbed it and pulled. I’ve got to try to get a new belt now. Hopefully it won’t take long to get here.

  • Ahhh yes, the beloved dryer belt. I remember disassembling the dryer on Elm St, finding about tree-fiddy in change, a crap ton of dust, and one broken belt. Not too bad to get back together, and I think that Ace has the replacements. Give it a shot.

  • Oooo. I didn't think about Ace. I'll have to do that. Cause I don't think Sears carries any friggin replacement parts at the stores any more. I think I would have to order it. Friggin belt.

  • Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! Everything else in my house may have broken in the last week, but at least my dryer still works!

Well, it worked the last time I used it. I don't know about now. I wonder if it's still good?
Damn. Now I'm scared to use it.
