Hiatus

Good Lord where have I been. It’s been three friggin weeks. Well, I’ve been a little busy. As the last post said I signed away part of my life for the promise of buying a house. It took about a week for the previous occupants to move due to flooring problems at the new residence and rain. As it happened I didn’t get complete run of the place until the 22nd of June. And as luck would have it I was leaving town on the 23rd to go visit a friend of mine in Florida. I even got to see who has been distracting him so much, and I completely understand. Here’s a picture from his place.

I spent several days down there and didn’t get home until Wednesday evening. Thursday I finally made it to my new house and changed the locks. Today I have some friends coming into town and we will probably move some stuff over to the new place this weekend. I’ll try to keep some information posted about that.

In addition to that I’m still learning a new job at work. The week before I went to Florida my co-worker was on vacation. Of course that means that everything started to happen. I had to cut loose 4 smart podiums, remove the computers and monitors, remove the LCD projectors, gather new materials for the rooms, continue straightening the mess the previous worker left, learn how to install a laptop smart classroom, and install one primarily on my own. Basically I was slammed most of the week. I was glad of the vacation. I even finished two books over vacation. I hope to have those reviews up soon.
